Genç İtalyan kontrbasçı Michelangelo Scandroglio liderlik yaptığı ilk albümde günümüz cazından etkilenen eserlerini seslendiriyor. Albümde dünya çapında tanınmış müzisyenler Logan Richardson ve Hermon Mehari yer alıyor. Müziklerinde birbirini takip eden farklı katmanlardaki melodiler birbirinden hem ayrılıp hem de birleşerek dinleyeni sürekli gelişen bir söyleşinin içinde tutuyor. Michelangelo Scandroglio Riga Uluslararası Jazz Yarışması’nın kazananlarından biri, İtalya’da ‘’Tomorrow’s Jazz Award’u kazandı ve 2019 yılında Umbri Jazz Contest’te birinci olarak ödülünü Paolo Fresu’nun ellerinden aldı. İlk albümü Auand Records etiketiyle piyasaya çıkacak sanatçı, albümün turnesine Türkiye’den başlayacak. Kendisine bu turnede Hermon Mehari, Jef Giansily ve Ferit Odman’dan oluşan harika grup eşlik edecek.

The young Italian double-bass player Michelangelo Scandroglio presents his debut album as a leader, a work deeply inspired by contemporary Jazz. The group is composed of internationally renowned musicians, featuring Logan Richardson and Hermon Mehari. The music is characterized by various layers of melodies that follow each other, interweave and merge, thus offering the listener a discourse in constant evolution.

Michelangelo Scandroglio is one of the winners of the RIGA INTERNATIONAL JAZZ COMPETITION. He received the Italian prize “TOMORROW’S JAZZ AWARD “ and in 2019 was awarded by Paolo Fresu the first prize of the UMBRIA JAZZ CONTEST.

His first project will be out on Auand Records. Its official release tour starts in Turkey this January with a special band featuring some of the most innovative jazz players such as Hermon Mehari, Jef Giansily and Ferit Odman.
